Ed Frost is a massive comic book and tokusatsu fan. Having books on Greek Mythology, King Arthur, and Tolkien read to him from a young age by his father, Ed fell in love with storytelling. He spent the earliest days of his childhood making up stories for his Power Ranger, Dragonball Z, and Captain America toys. Thanks to the continuous support of his wife, Jennifer, Ed began writing his ideas down in hopes of making them into a novel someday. While attending college, he encountered Invincible by Robert Kirkman, the Kamen Rider franchise, and Ombray. All three of which changed his desire to tell a story into creating a comic book. Brave 3 is the first attempt at fulfilling that desire.
Ombray Grigsby is an all around media artist; a kind of jack of all trades when it comes to animation, illustration, and graphic design. He spends a great deal of his time honing his craft as well as reading comics and hunting down new and interesting music. He’s hugely into animation like Outlaw Star, tokusatsu shows like Kamen Rider and indie comics books like Sullivan’s Sluggers and King City. All of those helped shape his art style into what it is today. Over the years he’s met like minded friends like Ed and his wife Jen that shared similar ideals in which helped push them onto the path that created their first comic Brave 3.
